Is it possible to select multiple objects in Layout? Most of my work involves large numbers of objects which need to be moved sometimes individually and sometimes as groups-atoms and molecules etc( I do Scientific animation). Anyway it takes
me forever to move these objects one at a time. Hope there is an answer

Parent associated items to a common NullObject. You can rename the NullObject
appropriately. Now, when you move the Null Object (or scale it or
stretch it or rotate it etc.) all the "children" objects will be
affected. When you move a child object individually, it will move relative to
the NullObject. You can also parent NullObjects to other NullObjects. I
don't know if there is a limit to the number of "levels" of hierarchies
created this way.
